Erdebil Köşkü (Erdebil Mansion)

History and Construction: Erdebil Mansion was built during the construction of a bridge over the Tigris River in the year 512 AD by order of Byzantine King I. Anastasius to accommodate construction workers. Later, it was restored multiple times in the 17th century. As a reward for the services provided to the Ottoman Empire, the mansion was granted to Ibrahim Hafid Pasha.

Architectural Features: The mansion shares similar architectural features with Gazi Mansion. It consists of a basement, ground floor, and upper floor, all in a rectangular structure. The basement contains a stable unit, while the ground floor comprises a hall, rooms, and a kitchen. The upper floor includes a hall, rooms, a spacious terrace, and a toilet.

Restoration: Over time, the structure suffered deterioration and required restoration. In 1994, it was registered and restored by the Diyarbakır Cultural and Natural Heritage Preservation Board.

Scenery: Erdebil Mansion, along with Gazi Mansion, offers a panoramic view of the Kırklar Mountain, Tigris River, and Hevsel Gardens.

Registration: After restoration, the mansion was registered by the Diyarbakır Cultural and Natural Heritage Preservation Board in 1994.
